I’ve Been Thinking About Graphic Tees

The easiest way to get dressed in summer and still look like you might have somewhere slightly more interesting to be (btw same for men…)

There was a time, at least for me, when life was simple. A Patagonia t-shirt, Levi’s 501s, and white Reeboks. That was the outfit. No questions asked. Probably worn on repeat. Probably slightly tragic. But also kind of perfect.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about graphic tees again.

Not in a trend way. More like remembering how easy they are. They have that slightly nostalgic feel, but they also make an outfit instantly more relaxed, less serious, which feels right for summer.

@Leandra…

And more than that, they give a very specific energy. Like you have plans, good ones, but you’re not trying to prove anything. You look put together, cool without forcing it, like you could be grabbing coffee, going to lunch, or casually meeting someone and it might turn into something slightly more serious. You just look like you have your life together, without overdoing it.

How I’d Wear It

  1. With running shorts and a blazer + sandals (heels ? no idk to Bradshaw much of a moment, anyhow sandals..)
Slightly confusing, but in a good way. Sporty, but like you might have a meeting.

  2. With Levi’s or cropped jeans and flip-flops
The perfect Saturday lunch uniform. Easy, relaxed, but still looks right.

  3. With a pareo or any skirt + Sandals or flip-flops.
Instant holiday energy, even if you’re just going to get coffee.

  4. With espadrilles
Not everyone agrees, I know. I still love them.

  5. With jean shorts or bermudas + espadrilles ofc.
A bit boyish, very summer, very easy.

  6. With linen pants and sandals after work
Relaxed but still put together, like you might end up staying out longer than planned.

Honestly it just works with everything. That’s the point.

Where I’d Find Them

Etsy for the slightly random ones
Vinted, especially the men’s section
Vintage Ralph Lauren for that soft worn-in feel
Anything with a 70s vibe, a bit faded, slightly imperfect

I also love the idea of very simple, almost tourist-looking tees. The ones you wouldn’t normally pick are usually the best.

And I might be making a few for my wine brand. Just saying…
